Sometimes You Win

Sometimes You Learn … Never Give Up Trying

What a terrific Track and Field experience the students had this week! Thank you to the staff for organizing it and the many parents who came out to help!

Lots of running, jumping, throwing and cheering at the St. Charles track meet. Equally as important as the great showing of athletic ability was the sportsmanship evident today.

Honor Your Mother

We Celebrate with our Mothers

Tea1Friday we celebrated our annual Kindergarten Mother’s Day Tea. The event began with a short performance by the students, followed with a tea party and gift giving.

On Friday, May 6, 2016 the two Kindergarten classes hosted a Mother’s Day Tea to honor their Mothers.  Mothers’ enjoyed the recital of a poem, a special song dedicated to the Moms, tea with cookies, some lively conversation and finally snuggling up to read a good book.  Students were very excited to share their school experience with their Moms!

The cheer rang throughout the Winnipeg Art Gallery auditorium on May 2nd as the SCCS students performed Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.

The evening began with a Klezmer Band (Mrs. Lalonde, Ms. Sham, Dr. Penny and Michael Cutler) setting the tone as people entered the auditorium.
